Whats on In London October 2012?

October in London heralds the beginning of the darker nights as the clocks go back one hour and winter starts to knock on the door. It is also the time that London starts to light up and sparkle.

As usual there are lots of things going on in the museums to help keep out the winter blues and to entertain the soul, check what's on below.

October is also the time that witches and ghosts come out to play and in response there are many special events held to bring a smile to the face on this ghoulish night.

London starts to get rather cold in October so remember to wrap up warm and plan your days out in advance to make sure you have plenty of opportunities to be inside in the warm.

Things To Do In London october Chocolate Week

If you love chocolate you will not want to miss Chocolate week In London. The festival takes place in various places across London throughout the week.


Top chocolatiers, chocolate companies and chocolate shops all take part. Events include talks, tastings,  demonstrations, chocolate-themed meals and much more.

Nour FestivalLondon October

See a stunning variety of Middle Eastern and North African artistic talent in various events across west London.


Nour means "light" in some Middle Eastern languages and is relevant to the festival as it is designed to highlight some of the best art , film, fashion and more from the various Middle eastern cultures.
Halloween in London

Ghosts and Ghouls walk the streets of London at the end of October. Well you may come across a few Children dressed up for the occasion. However there are plenty of ghostly events happening on that night for adults too.

Diwali In London

Diwali, the Festival of Lights. There are events held all over London where anyone can join in the celebrations. The most famous of these is Diwali on the Square on Trafalgar Square.


The Trafalgar Square events attracts thousands of people,  the square is transformed with magical light displays, floating lanterns, food stalls, music, dance and more.
